Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. This marks the second year that Midland Air has participated in this wonderful event that helps fund the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial assistance for families.
Midland Air Service Experts gave $1000 to this great cause and the nationwide event has raised over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her dad’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids every year.
“My dad’s motorcycle club rides every year because they can have fun and ride motorcycles, all for this incredible cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The generous motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t as into the riding part of the event. “We just do it because we love the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air adores being involved in their community and helping with incredible events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To read more about how you can get involved and help the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, visit their site.
