The NATE-Certification Advantage

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is proud to send NATE-Certified technicians into customers’ homes in North America every day. While this notation of being Nate-Certified surely sounds reassuring, what does it really mean?

NATE, an abbreviation for North American Technician Excellence, is the nation’s largest non-profit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians. NATE is the certification organization that was developed by and has been acknowledged by the entire HVACR industry for nearly 20 years. However, not all technicians in the industry are necessarily NATE-Certified. The certification is discretionary and technicians can service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems without being NATE-Certified.

It’s a priority for Service Experts that our team is NATE-Certified to make sure we are placing the most qualified technicians into our customers’ homes. To make sure technicians meet these standards, the NATE-Certification exams confirm real-world working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems for technicians. The assessments are knowledge-based exams that evaluate the technician’s understanding of these guidelines.

Due to the fact that Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning focuses largely on the HVAC side of NATE-Certification, our technicians achieve their designations in these areas. However, NATE assessment candidates may earn certification in multiple areas:

  • Air Conditioning
  • Air Distribution
  • Gas Heating
  • Oil Heating
  • Heat Pumps
  • Hydronic Gas (service only)
  • Hydronics Oil (service only)
  • Light Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
  • Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
  • Ground Source Heat Pump Loop Installer
  • Senior HVAC Efficiency Analyst

You can be sure that the technicians at Service Experts are highly competent and professional and will do the job correctly from the start. Our company has the ability and skill set to not only service your HVAC systems, but to take the ultimate care of your equipment. Call 803-399-7208 to have one of our NATE-Certified experts check out your HVAC system to be sure that it is prepared to ensure your family’s comfort throughout the year.
